Fort Smith, Arkansas, September 8, 2014 – For the second consecutive year and the third time overall, ABF Freightsm is a recipient of a Quest for Quality Award from the staffs of Peerless Research Group and Logistics Management magazine and is being honored for its expedited service offerings.
ABF Freight was featured in the magazine’s August issue and will be honored during the Quest for Quality Gala September 24 in San Antonio.
“It’s gratifying to see that shippers recognize the time spent and the resources deployed as we’ve engineered our service with their needs in mind,” said ABF Freight President and CEO Roy Slagle. “Winning a Quest for Quality Award is particularly satisfying since the magazine asks its readers to name companies with the highest levels of service excellence. It’s not a contest or a competition that one can enter. There are no third-party evaluations. The editors of Logistics Management survey supply chain decision makers and publish the results.”
