Deutsche Post DHL increases the number of vocational training positions in Germany

  • Rising demand creates the need for additional 450 training positions
  • 2,375 vocational training positions in 15 professions and a wide variety of academic subjects in 2015

In the coming year, Deutsche Post DHL will offer 2,375 new vocational training positions. Young people now have the opportunity to apply for apprenticeships and courses of study in 15 professions and 10 academic subjects at the world’s leading postal and logistics services company, Deutsche Post DHL. With around 200,000 employees in Germany alone and some 480,000 worldwide, the company is not only one of the largest employers in its home country but also around the globe. The Group aims to place all qualified graduates in permanent internal Group positions once they have completed training. “We are investing heavily in our vocational training efforts and offering opportunities to many different young people in various professional fields,” said Melanie Kreis, Human Resources Board Member at Deutsche Post DHL. “For us, well-trained employees are a key factor for continued success in the future.”
