DHL Global Forwarding is launching a new weekly direct service for groupage containers between India and Germany. The new service will reduce the transit time for LCL (less than container load) transports from Tuticorin, India, to Hamburg from 33 to 26 days.

“Trade in goods between India and its number-one EU trade partner Germany is on a positive trend. We’re observing growing demand from our customers for transports from India. With the new LCL service, we’re meeting this demand,” said Volker Oesau, CEO DHL Global Forwarding Middle Europe. “In particular, companies in the textile, chemical, metal, leather and electronics sectors will benefit from the expansion of our LCL network.”
