(13 January 2015) ActivePost junior Tennis Hot Shots’ players will be able to have a hit on the same courts as the champs at this week’s Heineken Open in Auckland running between 12th – 17th January.
As a part of New Zealand Post’s community programme ActivePost, junior tennis players will have the chance to play mini games on the best centre court in New Zealand at the ASB Tennis Arena.
ActivePost Tennis Hot Shots is the national starter tennis programme for New Zealand children. It teaches kids the basics of the game using modified equipment so they get a fair go on the court while they’re learning.
“The ActivePost programme aims to introduce children to tennis through games and fun activities,” says New Zealand Post Sponsorship spokesperson Malcolm Shaw.
