CourierPost committed to high service delivery standards

(23 December 2014) CourierPost today reassured customers of its high service delivery standards following the release of a video depicting freight and parcels being mishandled in the Waikato.

CourierPost was made aware of the video, filmed by a public bystander, on Monday afternoon.

This morning CourierPost’s Hamilton Area Manager will meet with the contractor and individuals involved to begin a disciplinary process.

CourierPost assures customers that this is not an acceptable way to treat freight.

“The company takes misconduct seriously and will be following up this incident, which we believe is isolated, with those involved,” Chief Operating Officer Paul Trotman says.

“We have delivered over a million couriers items in the last week and our expectations are that this is done at a World Class level, an expectation we do meet.”
