The UK’s fastest growing parcel delivery company DPD has been confirmed as Hinckley AFC’s official shirt sponsor for the 2014/15 season.
Tim Jones, Marketing Director for DPD said; “We are delighted to be teaming up with Hinckley AFC. To get the club set-up and ready for the new season in such a short period of time is a fantastic achievement by everyone involved. Our association with the town is growing rapidly, so it is great to be able to get involved in something else that will make a huge difference to the community.”
DPD is currently constructing a £100m parcel sorting hub at Hinckley Commercial Park close to J1 of the M69. The new hub will be the largest of its kind in Europe, creating 1,000 full time permanent jobs. The construction work is now nearing completion and local recruitment initiatives are well underway. The state-of-the-art facility will be fully operational in 2015.
