About Australia Post
Australia Post provides postal services in Australia and its overseas territories. “Australia Post” is the trading name, Australian Postal Corporation (formerly the Australian Postal Commission) is the Australian Government-owned entity responsible for the services. Australia Post has been keeping Australia connected for more than 200 years. They do this by delivering mail, helping businesses and consumers with parcels, and providing a national retail network that supports local communities and organisations.
As the needs of the community have evolved, so have they, with a range of services spanning our stores, online and the MyPost Digital MailBox. We complement our national logistics and retail network with convenient digital products to help make everyday life a bit simpler.
The most common tracking number format is a combination of 13 alphabetic and numeric characters, usually starting with 2 alphabets, following by 9 digits, and ending by “AU” (e.g. EE 999 999 999 AU). Some other less common formats may also exist.
